West End Jobs & Workforce – Community Listening Session

As the West End continues to grow, how do we ensure that jobs, career pathways, and economic opportunities are accessible to residents? One West End invites you to join us on March 23, 2026, from 6pm–7:30pm for an in-person discussion on West End Jobs & Workforce. This Community Listening Session will take place at Spelman College (350 Spelman Ln SW, Atlanta, GA 30314, Science Center Room 134). Meet Our Panelists:

  • Kelsey Maynor – Invest Atlanta
    • Kelsey brings nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of hospitality, economic development, and public-sector advisory. He works to align operational strategy, financial feasibility, and community impact, helping ensure that development creates real opportunities for residents.
  • Quasandria “Q” Turner – Westside Works
    • Q has over 20 years of experience in workforce development and community-centered human services. Her work focuses on equity-driven career pipelines, digital upskilling, and employer partnerships that connect residents to high-demand jobs.
  • Quia Cunnigham – RICE GA AIM Project 3
    • Quia Cunningham is a passionate advocate for underserved communities with experience in program development, strategic planning, and community partnership building. Her professional background includes banking and consumer relations, recruitment and candidate development, training and continuing education, federal programs, and culturally responsive coaching. She currently serves as Project Director at the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs, where she leads strategic initiatives, manages project development and execution, builds collaborative partnerships, and uses data-driven insights to strengthen programs and support entrepreneurial growth.

We are also excited to welcome another student moderator, Gav’Rielle Sampson! Gav’Rielle is a third-year Political Science student at Clark Atlanta University on the pre-law track. She is the founder of The Miseducation Press and serves as Miss for her chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. Gav’Rielle brings a passionate student perspective and a commitment to civic engagement and community advocacy.
