Atlanta – The 2024 Atlanta University Center Graduate Fair is an annual event bringing together graduate and professional schools from across the country to meet with students from the Atlanta University Center Consortium (AUCC) undergraduate campuses of Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College and Spelman College. The AUCC is excited to welcome over 100 graduate schools/programs on October 10th, 3-6p.m. at Archer Hall at Morehouse College.
The annual event is an opportunity for students to learn about different graduate and professional programs, meet with representatives from admissions committees, and ask questions about the application process.
The fair is also a great opportunity for students to:
- Explore Graduate Programs in One Place:
- AUC students can learn about a wide variety of programs without having to search online or visit multiple campuses. Our fair offers a one-stop shop to gather information and make informed decisions about programs
- Direct Access to Admissions Experts:
- AUC students get the chance to meet admissions officers and faculty members who can answer specific questions about prerequisites, application tips, and program details.
- Discover Scholarship and Financial Aid Opportunities:
- AUC students can learn about available scholarships, fellowships, assistantships, and other financial aid options directly from schools.
- Gain Insight Into Admission Requirements:
- Get firsthand information on standardized tests (GRE, GMAT, etc.), GPA expectations, personal statement tips, and interview processes to better prepare for applying.
- Broaden Career Opportunities:
- Students unsure of whether graduate school is the right next step can learn about the career advantages that a graduate degree offers and what doors it can open.
- Discover Less-Known Programs:
- Find niche or interdisciplinary graduate programs they weren’t previously aware of, expanding their options beyond traditional paths.
- Build Professional Networks:
- Graduate school fairs often attract professionals, recruiters, and industry experts, making it a great opportunity to start building a network in their desired field.
