In Ernie Suggs’ new publication, The Many Lives of Andrew Young, he chronicles the life and legacy of the influential human rights activist, politician and icon through compelling narrative and hundreds of full-color photographs. The Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library, in conjunction with the Library’s Friends’ Council, is pleased to host an engaging conversation and book signing between author and journalist, Ernie Suggs and Ambassador Andrew Young. Mayor Shirley Franklin, who served as Chief Administrative Officer in Young’s mayoral administration, will lead the evening’s rich discourse.
Join the Robert W. Woodruff Library for a light reception at 5:30pm; the program will begin at 6:00pm. The event will be held in the Virginia Lacy Jones Exhibition Hall.
