About: This one-week virtual program exposes incoming HBCU freshmen to data science opportunities and how to use data on issues affecting Black America. This year’s theme, “Data for Social Impact,” will incorporate research topics that solve societal challenges through data insights and innovation.
Seeking: Motivated students with a passion for inquiry, investigations, and technology.
Program Dates: July 15-19, 2024 (Monday-Friday) from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm PT // 2:00 to 4:00 pm ET daily
Awards: Each participant, upon successful completion of the program, will receive a $350 stipend and a certification of participation.
