The AUCC Inclement Weather Team, comprised of individuals from our member institutions(Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Spelman College) and AUC Woodruff Library, released the following statements regarding inclement weather and the Atlanta University Center. Weather conditions will continue to be monitored.

Due to an abundance of caution, Atlanta University Center campuses and the AUC Woodruff Library will close at 4.00 p.m. today, January 16, 2024, for non-essential personnel.
The AUC Inclement Weather Team continues to monitor weather conditions. All campuses and the AUC Woodruff Library will open today at 10:30 a.m.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update our campus community as needed. We advise all to be careful while driving in this inclement weather.

The AUCC Inclement Weather Team is monitoring weather conditions and will delay the opening of our campuses of Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Spelman College, until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. This decision has been made due to the possibility of black ice developing on roads as temperatures drop below freezing overnight. We advise all faculty, staff, and students to continue to monitor local weather forecasts for updates. We will continue to monitor the situation and update our campus community as necessary. A tentative decision will be made concerning the start of classes, which begin January 17, 2024.
