Atlanta –The Atlanta University Center Consortium held its annual AUCC Career Fair, where students from Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College and Spelman College had the opportunity to meet over 300 employers bringing internships and opportunities held on September 20, 2024. The Sunday before the event students had a unique opportunity to prepare to bring their A-game to the event. AUCC’s event partner for the 2024 Career Fair, UNCF was instrumental in partnering with Macy’s at Lenox Square Mall to offer students this shopping opportunity.
AUC campuses have been busy for the past few weeks, each preparing students with interview prep, resume reviews and more in anticipation of the AUCC career fair. Each school had unique opportunities for students to implement whatever area they would like to polish up as the event neared.
On the Sunday before the Career Fair, Macy’s at Lenox Mall opened their doors for a few hours to offer students a chance to not only shop but receive information about their tailoring services and get styling advice about putting their best foot forward. Students were able to purchase suits, dress shirts, get styled, and get alterations. Organizers hope to present the opportunity again allowing more students to attend.
