Welcome to AUCC DDEP Summer Bridge!
The AUCC Dual Degree Engineering Program Summer Bridge Program is a free six-week intensive summer program, held this year on the campus of Morehouse College. This program is designed to prepare students who have been accepted into the program for the rigor of the engineering curriculum at the AUCC, introduce leadership opportunities and careers in engineering, and to familiarize students with Atlanta University Center institutions and college rigor.
Students will experience:
- A credit-bearing Advanced Pre-Calculus course appearing on your official home institution transcript
- Coursework in Intro to Engineering to jump-start your academic journey
- Experiential Learning Activities with top engineering firms across Atlanta
- Mentorship, networking, and career exploration with engineering professionals
- A strong foundation in leadership, academic discipline, and collaboration with fellow DDEP peers
Program Dates: Monday, June 8 – Friday, July 10, 2026
In addition to these classes, students will learn about career opportunities available through internships and after graduation.
The DDEP Summer Bridge Program highlights the necessity of being prepared, dedicated to academic excellence, learning in an environment geared toward your future career and a chance to meet other students with like interests.
Admission to this program is limited to only 30 students(ten from each of the three undergraduate AUCC institutions: Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Spelman College) accepted in the Fall of 2026.
