Aaron Quick

Graduate Assistant for the Center for Excellence in Public Services

Aaron Quick is a proud alumnus of Central State University, a Historically Black University. He graduated with honors and earned his Bachelor of Social Work degree in just three years. After earning his BSW, Aaron continued his education and went on to earn his Master of Social Work at North Carolina State University. Currently, Aaron is going into his 2nd-year as a Ph.D. student at Clark Atlanta University’s Whitney M. Young, Jr., School of Social Work. His research focus centers on the lack of mental health intervention for law enforcement officers and how a lack of mental health intervention is leading to police brutality. His goal post-graduation is to run for local, state, and federal officials in order to continue to advocate for new policies and legislation that will better the community-police relationships across the nation.
