Morgan Lipkins

DDEP Program Coordinator (B.S.|M.S.) / Executive Administrative Assistant

In her dual-role position, Morgan Lipkins manages the daily operations and coordination of the Dual Degree Engineering Program (B.S./M.S.) under the Director of IDEA while providing substantial administrative support to the Senior Director of Operations. A successful graduate of the AUCC DDEP Program as of 2021, Lipkins holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Spelman College and a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University. 

Lipkins actively contributes to the STEM community by founding the Spelman Sisters of STEM (SSOS) organization in 2018 and sitting on the board of the Young Technical Professionals (YTP) SIG of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Since 2016, she has volunteered with the AUCC, highlighted by her hosting of the 2022 AUCC DDEP Awards Ceremony and her involvement in the DDEP 2024 Summer Bridge Program, reflecting her commitment to empowering the next generation of innovators. 

Fueled by a deep-rooted passion for education and a steadfast commitment to diversifying STEM, Lipkins is on a mission to empower women and minorities, especially Black and brown girls and women. She focuses on creating equitable pathways to success in all STEM-related fields, aiming to cultivate an inclusive environment where innovation can thrive. Her dedication to breaking down barriers and inspiring the next generation of leaders extends beyond STEM, enriching their lives and futures in every aspect.
