Atlanta – The Atlanta University Center Consortium is preparing for its annual Career Fair, being held Friday, Sept 20, welcoming 300 employers to offer jobs, internships, and career opportunities to Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, and Spelman College students. For the 2nd year, UNCF Empower Me Tour (EMT) will partner with the Atlanta University Center Consortium as they have prepared the world’s most talented emerging professionals and connected them with companies and organizations that need their innovation, imagination, and expertise.
At each campus around the AUC, preparations are underway in the area of interview prep, resume critique, and more. Last year’s event welcomed nearly 3,000 students the three AUCC undergraduate institutions. The fair connects students with employers from various industries who are looking for diverse talent, particularly from HBCUs. It provides an opportunity for students to explore internships, full-time positions, and graduate programs. Employers typically range from corporate, government, nonprofit, and education sectors.
For AUC students, it’s an excellent opportunity to build professional relationships, practice interview skills, and explore potential career paths.
For recruiters, it provides access to a pool of high-achieving, diverse candidates the AUCC provides at this annual event.
