Show them the Money! Those weren’t the exact words from Atlanta University Center Consortium Dual Degree Engineering Program students, but they were on the receiving end of $1.151 million, with $451,556 provided by the AUCC and sponsors, and approximately $700,000 in direct scholarships from our partnering engineering institutions around the country where students our students from Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College and Spelman College will complete their degree.

The 47th Annual Dual Degree Engineering Awards Ceremony was a milestone event that honored the remarkable academic accomplishments, leadership, and innovative spirit demonstrated by our dual-degree engineering scholars. Through rigorous coursework, hands-on experiences, and a commitment to excellence, these students have distinguished themselves as future leaders in the engineering profession.

Before this event, corporate sponsors and students attended a reception at the Zucot Gallery to network and discuss future plans.

The ceremony recognized their successes but also celebrated the collective impact of diversity and inclusion in shaping the future of engineering. Since the inception of the DDEP,  more than 3,000 students have graduated through the AUCC DDEP increasing diversity in the field of engineers.
