AUCC & HBCUs Outside Activate for Earth Day 2024

AUC We Outside! Join the HBCUs Outside and Atlanta University Center Consortium in celebrating Earth Day at the 2024 Earth Day Link-Up activation on April 20th, 2024—a day filled with free giveaways, food, rock climbing, and stewardship. Select students who attend will receive $50 gift cards and Nike gear. We want to see all of our students from Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College & Spelman College turn out! HBCU’s Outside is a non-profit organization committed to helping students and alums of Historically Black Colleges and Universities get outside and to the top of the outdoor industry.

The activation will be a fun day filled with amazing giveaways, starting with an AUC neighborhood clean-up walk and ending at The Overlook Boulder + Fitness for free rock climbing sessions and lunch & chill at the Westside Outside Festival & Hang Out at Lee & White.

• 10:00 AM – Check-In at AUCC Office at Roosevelt Hall, 660 Atlanta Student Movement Blvd.

• 10:30 AM – 11:30 PM AUC Clean-Up Walk to Lee & White

• 11:30 AM – Breakfast Bites at Lee & White

• 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM Rock Climbing at  The Overlook Boulder 

• 2:00 PM – Lunch & Giveaways at Lee & White

• 3:00 PM (Optional) Walk Back to AUC
