Transfer Process
Dual Degree Engineering Program (DDEP)
Follow Us
The purpose of the AUCC Transfer Process is to ensure DDEP students are identified as Dual Degree Engineering Transfer Students; thus, distinguishing them from regular transfer students. This process is mandatory and must be initiated by the student.
Any student who anticipates transferring in a subsequent semester must initiate the process one semester prior to the transfer semester (i.e. student scheduled to transfer in Spring 2023 will start the process in Fall 2022).
The Process
- Student informs AUC DDEP Director (campus) of anticipated transfer and request an advising session for course/program audit
- Student completes Advisor Transfer Form (ATF) with AUC DDEP Director
- AUC DDEP submits ATF to AUCC DDEP Program Manager
- AUCC DDEP Program Manager schedules Transfer Meeting with student
- Student completes FERPA and Transcript Release forms with AUCC DDEP Program Manager
- Student receives Point of Contact (POC) information for each Partnering Institution
- AUCC DDEP Program Manager/Student/POC at Partnering Institute confer by phone
- Student Completes the Transfer Process Checklist with AUCC DDEP Program Manager
- Student begins rapport with POC at Partnering Institute
- AUCC DDEP Program manager (w/AUC DDEP Director) continue advising student
- Student notifies AUCC DDEP Program Manager and AUC DDEP Director of transfer acceptance
- AUCC DDEP Program Manager/Student/POC at Partnering Institute confer by phone
- POC updates Program Manager on student progress
- AUCC DDEP Program manager documents progress and shares with appropriate person(s)
- Once Student has completed all requirements for graduation from the Dual Degree Engineering Program, student will notify the AUCC DDEP Program Manager, the AUC DDEP Director, and the Department Chair (i.e. Math, Applied Physics, etc.) at the AUC Institution
- Department Chair completes the degree audit
- Student is cleared for graduation
- Student completes Graduate Exit Form with AUCC DDEP Program Manager
