Chih-Tsung Huang
Senior Director, Hardware Engineering
Chih-Tsung Huang is the Senior Director of Hardware Engineering in the Common Hardware Group responsible for delivering sustainable solutions for the silicon, hardware systems and optics for Cisco’s switching, routing, optical, cable access and IoT portfolios. Chih-Tsung joined Cisco in October 1998 and has worked on delivering Cisco’s award-winning multi-billion dollar Catalyst Campus Switches, Nexus Data Center switches, UCS Compute systems, and Silicon One performing leadership roles in silicon, hardware and product management. Prior to Cisco, Chih-Tsung had various engineering roles at Toshiba and Xilinx.
Chih-Tsung has been an active proponent of University recruiting for over two decades through leading and sponsoring many initiatives that increased both diverse and early in career development and representation.
Chih-Tsung holds over 100 US and Global patents in area of FPGA and networking. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California at Berkeley and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
