John Jennyson

John’s career spans 30 years of multi-functional experience that includes 17 years in HR, as well as Sales, Marketing, Operations and P&L Leadership. He joined Wood, one of the world’s leading consulting and engineering companies operating across Energy and the Built Environment, through the legacy Amec Foster Wheeler firm in 2005. John is a dedicated business advocate committed to bringing to life Wood’s values, brand, and culture through people and development. Passionate about the employee experience and recruitment and retention, John led the development of an Employee Value Proposition, tailored for Wood’s Consulting business.
In this time with the firm, John has held progressively senior operational and corporate HR positions, and was appointed to his current role as President, People & Organization in October of 2019. In this role and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, he is responsible for the development and implementation of the people strategy for Wood’s Consulting business, a $2bn operation, covering 10,000 employees in 20 countries. He is currently HR lead on multi-billion-dollar divestiture covering 6,500 employees, globally.
